RIDE ON ART #20 - GraviDAO
TokuNFTs were airdropped to their new homes. This successful collaboration between KodaDot and GraviDAO was the reason why we decided to learn more about the GraviDAO project.

GraviDAO is now the name of the project that recently people from Polkadot have heard more about. Can you tell us what GraviDAO is?Â
GraviDAO is a dynamic builder's collective dedicated to community tooling and open-source infrastructure. Our journey began during the summer of 2021 at the SpaceCamp Hackathon, where we gathered a passionate group of individuals ready to make a mark in the NFT art space. One of our key partnerships emerged when Ilo discovered Myr's incredible artistic talent in Terra's Discord server. Ever since, Myr has been leading the creative side of GraviDAO, ensuring that our collections resonate with creativity and innovation.
Why did you choose Polygon? Where do you see the most significant benefits of this ecosystem?
In pursuing a multichain approach, we refuse to confine ourselves to a single blockchain ecosystem. However, we did choose Polygon as the home for one of our awesome NFT collections, GraviCats. Minted initially on Terra, we migrated GraviCats to Polygon with the invaluable support of the One Planet NFT Marketplace's Ark*One program. The Polygon communities have embraced us with open arms, and the seamless onboarding process has proven the immense benefits of this vibrant ecosystem.

Lunar Assistant NFT: The Giving - Marketplace
This collection of 500 stunning 3D artworks features an arm holding an orb, symbolizing our gift to the community. We created this collection to crowdfund for developing our Lunar Assistant tool. Currently residing in Terra 1.0, we seek community input on the best migration strategy for these NFTs, ensuring their continued value and impact.
GraviCats - Collection Website
An awesome collaboration between GraviDAO and HellCats NFT, this collection represents a fruitful partnership in building exceptional communities on Terra. With a total supply of 1000, we distributed a third of the supply to HellCats and Lunar Assistant NFT holders, as well as the winners of the Design-a-Trait contest. This contest allowed different communities to design unique traits for the GraviCats. Additionally, exclusive poker tournaments returned all revenue generated from this collection to holders. GraviCats has now found its new home on Polygon, under the control of GraviCatsDAO, conducting a new chapter.

Among the marvelous collections we have created, my personal favorite is Lunar Assistant NFT: The Giving. Its captivating artistry and the meaningful connection it establishes with our community make it truly special.

Behind the scenes, the mastermind behind our awe-inspiring collections is the incredibly talented artist Myr. We crossed serendipitously when Ilo discovered Myr's exceptional artworks in Terra's Discord server. Since then, our collaboration has been nothing short of extraordinary, combining Myr's artistic genius with the visionary ambitions of GraviDAO.

You recently created TokuNFTs for the Polkadot ecosystem. How would you describe this experience?
The experience of creating TokuNFTs for the Polkadot ecosystem has been nothing short of exhilarating. Our partnership with KodaDot has been invaluable throughout the process, providing us with guidance and support every step of the way.

Were there any barriers you had to overcome?
Naturally, every journey comes with its fair share of barriers. As newcomers to the Polkadot ecosystem, our primary challenge was bringing our existing community along for the ride. However, with determination and our team's unwavering support, we guided our community through the onboarding process, ensuring their smooth transition to the new ecosystem.
How did your community react to this change?
Introducing a new ecosystem always sparks mixed reactions within a community. While not all members immediately embraced the change, we prioritized assisting and supporting them throughout the transition. We provided comprehensive guidance and resources to ease their concerns and make the onboarding process seamless. As time progresses, we expect our community to fully appreciate and benefit from the opportunities that the new ecosystem offers.
What are your plans now? What will be the new project you want to focus on?
Our plans for the future are centered around continuously improving our Lunar Assistant tool. We are dedicated to enhancing its functionality by adding exciting new features and integrating it with more blockchain chains. Our focus remains on empowering our community, offering them unparalleled support and tools to explore the vast potential of the NFT art world.
Are you planning to explore the Polkadot ecosystem more?
Absolutely! We are always open to exploring new horizons and pushing the boundaries of innovation. If the opportunity presents itself and we have the necessary resources, we would enthusiastically delve deeper into the Polkadot ecosystem, embracing its unique features and growth potential.
